Pricing Pathways

July 18 / 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm EDT

Discover essential strategies to boost your profits through smart pricing techniques.

If you run a for-profit business, profit maximization is your primary objective. Pricing is a major lever of profitability for businesses of all sizes and an important tool in any freelancer’s toolkit. Larger corporations can afford to maintain dedicated pricing teams that come up with sophisticated pricing solutions to extract more of the value created. On the other hand, small businesses often rely on intuition and simple rules of thumb, which do not usually offer a full picture of how much one should charge for their services. In this second webinar, the speaker will discuss the power of substitutes and complements, price discrimination, pricing over time, and the psychology of pricing.

In this webinar, you will:

  1. See how offering a lower price on one service can open doors to a higher-margin complement;
  2. Understand why applying just one price across all projects and all customers doesn’t lead to profit maximization;
  3. Learn how you can account for seasonal ups and downs with pricing over time;
  4. Be able to influence how your customers think about your pricing.
