Moon tides

It's pretty cold here up in the North. And most of the days are rainy and grey... Being used to so many hours of sun every day I forgot how hard bad weather could get. One needs to be careful to not be, feel or behave grey, too.
But in between those 50 shades of grey days there are those magic moments, still dark but somehow warm and colorful. And there's the Moon, beautiful as ever, shining for and by itself. And it reminds me of my own inner light, of not feeling grey at all but to shine instead. Not caring if anybody might see or feel that, not caring if anybody understands, just for me... I read a beautiful poem about the Moon the other day:

The moon is a loyal companion.
It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.

Enjoy your imperfections and keep on shining!
